Tabloo

How about a trip to an invisible world? At Tabloo, you can learn by doing about radioactivity, radioactive waste management and research into nuclear applications. Expect a place where learning, experiencing and relaxing go hand in hand: an interactive exhibition, vast landscape park, natural playground and fine Bistroo with a large terrace. Dozens of set-ups will offer you a unique view into the world of radioactivity. Start at the Big Bang to experience how the universe was created and where radioactivity comes from. You will discover the path radioactive waste takes and how we can begin to safely dispose of the waste. You will descend 225 metres, so to speak, into the underground lab HADES, and the social debate is also covered at Expoo.

Walking and playing! Whether it's sliding, jumping, or getting hands-on with sand and water: Children can play to their heart's content at the natural play ar eas in Tabloo's landscape park. The park walk (1.5 km) lends itself perfectly to families with young children: prams, scooters and small wheels are more than welcome. On the trail, you will find some slides, climbing balls and a meter-long picnic table. Could you take a little more? The Repository Walk (5 km) will take you right up to the site of the future near-surface radioactive waste repository. Through two View-Masters, you can see – with your own eyes – what the site will look like in the near and distant future.

Robotland

Robotland is a technology and fun park located in Essen in Belgium. Here, you can enjoy the currently most innovative transport and robot techniques in an
