The city museum of Lier tells you stories about Lier and its inhabitants. Not in a chronological order, but in themes that symbolizes the city according to the inhabitants. The museum links the past with the present and mixes great histories with personal ones. The themes are divided into three connecting rooms. You can explore them separately and find your own way.

Get to know the artists of Lier, the festive traditions, the local dialect, the legend of the sheep's heads, the adoration of Saint Gummarus and much more. De Schorre is a beautiful recreation park where you can walk or cycle through peaceful nature and along beautiful ponds.
